Hi @polymegaHQ can you please clarify if the Retroblox will utilize HDMI inputs only like some of the other modern multi consoles? If you’re going the HDMI route will there be CRT video filters (e.g scanlines) options? Please say yes, lots of games don’t look right without them especially games on PS1 / early 3D consoles.

Polymega supports 1080p HDMI output and currently has two video filters implemented, one for RGB Scanlines and one for a Composite look. It also supports 4:3, 16:9 and pixel perfect video output modes. We may add additional video filters and display modes in the future after launch.

It will be great to have Master System games full screen here in the UK. On old CRT 4:3 TV’s we had huge borders top and bottom –¬†even bigger then the usual PAL borders that most 50Hz games suffered.

Some TV’s (Philips for one) have a “Super Zoom” mode that pulls the outer edges of a 4:3 picture out to fill a 16:9 screen without stretching the centre area. It works great with 4:3 driving games especially. Any chance we may get something like that as an option in the future ?
