I was wondering if the pocketstation will be compatible, and if so – how?

Spyro the Dragon JP – infamously bad – made huge use of it, adding a whole new collectible when it detected it was plugged in, and allowing you to change the color and strength of Sparx the Dragonfly. Hopefully it will work, but this is the only draw of the Japanese version of the game ūüėõ

PlayStation 1¬†support has been announced to work¬†with the base system and no module, which means any sort of support for controllers, memory cards or peripherals such as the¬†PocketStation would have to come via a USB adapter.¬† At E3 2018, Playmaji announced¬†is “compatible with the Neo Geo X Fight Stick as well as other popular USB controllers” so it’s at least plausible that PocketStation support¬†is possible.

The PocketStation was basically a PS1 Memory Card with an LCD screen and some buttons, similar to how a VMU is basically an enhanced Dreamcast Memory Card.¬† So, since the PocketStation minigames are saved onto the PocketStation similarly to saving a game to a Memory Card, it’s highly likely the PS3 Memory Card Adapter will work.

    From the FAQ ( http://polymega.com/frequently-asked-questions/ ):

IS THERE A WAY TO GET MY PS ONE MEMORY CARD SAVES ON TO POLYMEGA‚ĄĘ?
To transfer¬†PSOne game¬†saves to POLYMEGA‚ĄĘ, you can use the Official Sony USB Memory Card adapter for PS3 (model number SCPH-98042) plugged into the USB port of the base unit.
