Polymega Price Update, Effective October 5th
Starting Monday, October 5th, 2026, we're adjusting prices on several Polymega products. We know nobody enjoys reading a post like this, so we want to explain plainly why it's happening.
The cost of building physical products has been climbing for a long time, and the pressure has only intensified. Component prices for hardware have risen sharply, driven in large part by the surge in data center investment for AI, which is competing for the same chips, memory, and other parts that go into consumer electronics. On top of that, sharp rises in fuel costs continue to push up the expense of manufacturing and shipping physical goods.
Over the years we've worked through plenty of challenges, and we've done everything we can to shield you from these increases. But with costs for nearly everything rising significantly every month and no end in sight, absorbing them is no longer sustainable for us.
New prices, effective October 5th, 2026:
- Polymega Base Unit: $599 USD
- Polymega Remix: $229 USD
- Polymega Element Module Sets: $99 USD or as specified
- Polymega RC-Series Controllers: $35 USD
All other product prices are unchanged.
We don't take this decision lightly. Thank you for supporting Polymega and for being part of this community. Your support is what allows us to keep building new products, and we'll keep working hard to deliver the best possible experience for retro game fans.
Lastly, we will be re-opening pre-orders for most products starting today with holiday 2026 shipping. Every order placed before October 5th will be honored at current prices.
