Hi Everyone, as promised — we’ve got a brief update on the progress of the localization of Polymega™ as well as its Region support features.

Here’s what we’ll be covering:

  • Supported Languages
  • Supported Game Description Languages
  • Region-Based Game Media Handling
  • Region-Based Controller Defaults

No matter where you’re from or what language you speak, if you believe games of the past are just as good as the games being made today — then you’re going to want a Polymega™. So, we’ve localized the systems user interface to 15 languages including US English and UK English, most Western European / Scandinavian Languages, and also Asian Languages. With all these languages supported, you’ll be able to easily enjoy the system and use its core features no matter where you’re from.

Here’s the full list of supported languages at launch:

    • English
    • UK English
    • Italiano
    • Deutsch
    • Français
    • Español
    • Português
    • Nederlands
    • Svenska
    • Norsk
    • Suomi
    • 한국어
    • 中文 (繁體)
    • 中文 (简体)
    • 日本語

One note is that while these languages are fully supported for the User Interface, game descriptions are not fully localized across all of the supported languages. For now, the game descriptions are in English for all languages, with the exception of Japanese, which are in Japanese. Viewing Japanese games in any language other than Japanese will result in the English description being displayed.

Take a look below to see screenshots of the localized user interface for the various languages supported.
