POLYMEGA APP 0.7.25.19 NOW AVAILABLE
Polymega App 0.7.25.19 brings Nintendo 64 gameplay to the app for the first time, along with GC01 light gun support for NES, SNES, PS1 and Saturn. This update also adds selectable N64 scale factors and fixes several crashes and visual glitches.
To install in Windows, simply download and install the new version, it will overwrite the previous version without any changes needed from your end. Your games and play data will be retained with the updated version.
N64 Scale Factor Usage: To select a high resolution Scale Factor for N64, choose Console from the in-game menu, then select 1x, 2x, 4x, or 8x in the Scale Factor selector box). The game will ask you to restart with the new resolution. If your system is not fast enough to play the resolution you have chosen, you may exit the game then Reset Scale Factor from the game launch menu prior to starting the game, and this will reset it back to 1x.
If your device is has issues running N64 games even at the lowest resolution (1x), please try enabling the Compatibility Mode setting in the main system settings menu, as this will run N64 in a special mode built for some types of lower power integrated GPU's and may improve performance. The path for this option is : Settings > Game Console Settings > N64 Settings > Enable Compatibility Mode. You may also set a default Scale Factor for all N64 games in this menu.
