The Polymega® Base Unit is the core of the Polymega® modular experience. It includes everything you need to start playing, including the system, wireless controller, and optical disc drive compatible with CD-ROM Based game consoles like PS1, Saturn, SCD / MCD, PCECD / TGCD, and more. At the press of a button, you can release the included Dust Cover, and change it out for any number of compatible Polymega® Element Modules, which provide limitless compatibility with legacy game cartridges and controllers for most of the prolific gaming systems of the past 50 years.

Install your games to the user interface and play them with enhanced RGB and Composite video filters, save states, and improved load times for supported systems.

Every Polymega system plays your original game discs from its built-in drive. Cartridges need the matching Element Module. Polymega Remix connects to a Windows 11 PC and runs through the free Polymega App; the PM01 base unit is a standalone console that connects to your TV.

The modules would not be necessary but come with a nice controller in the style of the system you purchased

Due to some bug I can't update the hardware, it's worked on most games I've tried it on. Trying to find tech support is nigh-impossable from the company

Awesome for reliving the glory days of retro gaming. Some UI slowdown while reading disks on initial insert but then it's smooth as silk. Latency in wireless controller is acceptable--could be better--but doesn't hinder play on any games I've tried.

Arrived intact I’m putting it through its paces. So far it’s very nice. Great packaging & quality. Arrived fairly quickly in about 5 days.

Great console got all my old games on and absolutely loving it, just a shame I had to wait two years for it.

Long waiting but definitly worth the wait

It doesn’t even switch on and Playmaji won’t answer my emails asking for help.

Overall, I'm very impressed with the console. Every CD based game (with the exception of 6th generation games and above) worked perfectly fine and downloaded onto the console with no problems. My only complaint was the wait time for the console to arrive. I ordered late December 2023 and got it late March 2024. That being said, it was well worth the wait 👍.

LOVE the product! Even though it's for a very niche audience. I still have a lot of the older disc's. The problem was that it latterly took 5 or 6yrs to get!!! I even started out with the pre order at Wal-Mart! No sorry! No REAL reason...

I am very impressed with the Polymega. I am able to play my Sega CD and Saturn games again! 🙂 The system lets you store the games on the hard drive or on an external drive or SD card so you can put your games away after and minimize the possibility of scratches. The controller is very comfy and you can use some RetroBit controllers to get the feel of the classic controllers. If you have or collect old 32bit CD games, check this out!

Had to wait forever for it, but it’s great.
